It's a dilemma and one she will have to figure out for herself. She will have to weigh the benefits of both options and make a choice. I would always vote for more space, but that's my preference. I can understand Christina's dilemma with the paneling wall for the full 100%. I think I would also considering to bring them back in their old state. It gives the apartment a certain character.
